Who we are...
Patricia’s II Pizza & Pasta opened its doors in
May 1998 as the second Patricia’s
in Rockland County. The original
pizzeria, Patricia’s Pizza & Deli, was located in Garnerville and
was a North Rockland landmark for almost three decades.
The Patricia’s reputation preceded itself when arriving in
Congers. Owner, Chef Andrew Alonso, is a graduate of the Culinary
Institute of America and created a wide array of gourmet pizzas not
seen before. Several of
these gourmet pizzas have a cult following, such as Ham & Cheese and
The Vegetarian.
Imitation is the best form of flattery, which explains the countless
pizzerias that have now included some of the Patricia’s gourmet pies
on their menus. To this
day many North Rockland residents stop in for their slice of
Patricia’s pizza.
In the 1990’s, Andrew was a pioneer in the catering industry within Rockland County by offering customers Super Bowl packages for the big game. All of this he brought with him to Congers.
All year
round, Andrew creates Pasta Fagioli
and Chicken Noodle soups. But in
the colder months, he puts out the tastiest homemade soups to warm
the bones including, but not limited to, Cream of Butternut Squash,
Chicken Gumbo, Lentil and Mushroom Barley.
As the wants and needs of his customers change, Andrew continues to be a trendsetter by offering authentic Spanish food, healthy menu options and the infamous grilled and pressed paninis.
